Eight prospective student-athletes have declared their intentions to play soccer at Vanderbilt University, Head Coach Derek Greene announced on National Signing Day, the first day of the regular signing period.

Birmingham, Ala. - The Southeastern Conference recently announced that 40 Vanderbilt student-athletes were named to the 2011 Fall SEC Academic Honor Roll.

Vanderbilt football senior Brandon Barden and soccer senior Emily Grant have been named Vanderbilt's Student-Athletes of the Month for September. The recipients are featured in a monthly Q&A on Vanderbilt's Academic Support website.
